Approved supplier [25 March 2006]
We're delighted to have been selected by Rolls-Royce plc as a preferred supplier for internal communications services. This builds on existing work over the past 18 months contributing to two significant change programmes.

New Year honours [3 February 2006]
The start of Gemini CfB's 12th year in business has been boosted with success at  CiB's Central Region Awards ceremony in Birmingham. Our stakeholder management campaign for Coors Visitor Centre and Museum of Brewing (Name-change campaign) won an award in the Communication Project class. I don't often enter work for competition but after our national success at the end of last year (Stakeholder class winner, CiB Communication Excellence Awards 2005) it was worth a punt. My client at Coors Brewers had set us the challenge of winning an award for the campaign as a critical success factor. Now we've won at both national and regional levels, we're more than happy.

Award for RBS work [23 January 2006]
Gemini CfB's magazine feature 'Man from the Hills', written for the Royal Bank of Scotland, came up trumps in the Writing class in the latest CiB Central Awards. We hold a contract to write each issue of this divisional publication. In communications the talk these days is about 'climbing the food-chain' and operating at a more strategic and consultative level and that's certainly a journey that Gemini CfB has made. Yet there's still immense satisfaction in crafting a feature, then honing and polishing the phrasing so the finished text becomes more than merely another piece of corporate copy. It's just as rewarding to get recognition for work of this kind, too.

Learning points [3 January 2006]
We've been asked to extend the scope of our current assignment for Rolls-Royce. At present we're helping to shape and deliver communications for a global project that will transform the process by which training is commissioned, designed and delivered. That work continues. Additionally, from January we will also take an overview of the Learning function's overall communications.

Savoy style [4 November 2005]
It was best bib and tucker time as Steve joined client Mike Maryon at the Savoy in London today for the CiB Communication Excellence Awards ceremony. Steve and Mike were in town to receive the Stakeholder class winner's award for the Coors Visitor Centre Name-change Campaign
